ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Named One of 2018’s “Great Colleges to Work For’ by Chronicle of Higher Education

ÌÇÐĹÙÍø is proud to announce that it has received The Chronicle of Higher Education’s â€ designation.

Only 84 colleges were honored, out of 253 participating accredited institutions nationally. ÌÇÐĹÙÍø is one of only two Western New York area honorees, the other being Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester.

ÌÇÐĹÙÍø was recognized in the following four categories, based on surveys that employees filled out earlier this year: Professional/Career Development Programs; Respect & Appreciation; Supervisor/Department Chair Relationship; and Work/Life Balance.

Such a dynamic, supportive work culture cultivates commitment and innovation within the ranks, according to ÌÇÐĹÙÍø President Bassam M. Deeb.

“Working at ÌÇÐĹÙÍø means being part of a tight-knit, family-like community, and we are lucky to have in our ÌÇÐĹÙÍø family some of the hardest working, most dedicated and compassionate staff, administrators and faculty members in higher education,â€ he said. “We find purpose each day by helping students achieve their career goals and change the trajectory of their lives for the better, ‘meeting the unmet needâ€ like our founding Sisters of Mercy.’

Thank you to all our employees for everything they do to make ÌÇÐĹÙÍø a wonderful place to work!
